Malta is an island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea and neighbours with two smaller islands Gozo and Comino. Historically Malta was used as a strategic naval base during the second world war and earned the George Cross for it's bravery during this time, the George Cross itself still appears on the Maltese flag today. After the war the island was left with practically nothing, not even soil, which like many other things had to be imported from Italy & Sicily.
Rabbit became the national dish due to its availability and even today Malta's drinking water comes directly from the sea as it has no fresh water sources. There are also temples within the Gozo landscape which pre-date the pyramids!

Accommodation
Ta'Vitor is a stunning farmhouse located on the Maltese island of Gozo and boasts beautiful Gozitan character. All furnishings are modern but rustic and in keeping. There are 4 en-suite bedrooms all with double beds, perfect for you to relax in peace. The property also boasts a large pool area and multiple sun terraces with amazing views. This property is both a mix of pure luxury and character rolled into one!
